Just another quick one, curiosity struck me in a custom game with my friend as he turned on his mod menu and gave me aimbot. I just wondered if I would receive a ban for that?

Knowingly playing with someone who is modding and actually using them yourself violates the code of conduct/terms of service so yes you can be banned for that.

If you receive a ban it'll be from Live. Whether or not it is permanent would be up to the enforcement team.

Typically if it's just your gamerscore, you would just receive a gamerscore reset. Depending on anything else that happened, it could be permanent.
